Built for iOS 18
Controller for HomeKit 7.2 builds on Appleβs iOS 18 features to improve everyday control. With Control Center widgets, key functions are just a swipe away. Televisions can now be controlled directly in Controller using an integrated remote, and the app icon integrates cleanly with dark and tinted appearance modes.
Smarter Controls and Workflows
We added new control elements for many accessories, including switches and lights, to make operation more intuitive. We are especially excited about Virtual Switches: stored actions can now be triggered from hardware controls and directly inside Controller, simplifying setup and daily use.
Workflows continue to go beyond standard Apple Home automations. Values can be read from one accessory and applied to another, and properties across multiple devices can be changed in one step. Version 7.2 also introduces a refreshed workflow design as the foundation for upcoming improvements.
