To mark its seventh anniversary, Controller for HomeKit Version 7.0 introduces the groundbreaking Floor Plan feature for Apple Home users, alongside a redesigned main experience focused on fast daily control.

A New Standard for Usability
Version 7.0 brings major usability improvements while preserving Controller’s strengths such as automations, backups, setup codes, smart folders, logs and notifications. The redesigned start screen makes it faster to enter rooms, run scenes and start workflows.
The new Floor Plan allows scanning a home or apartment into a 3D model and enriching it with controls for accessories, sensors, scenes, workflows and room navigation.
RoomPlan, Privacy and Access
As the first app of its kind, Controller for HomeKit uses Apple RoomPlan to create Floor Plans for Apple Home. Processing runs locally on iPhone, and transfers to your other devices are encrypted through iCloud.
Users with LiDAR-capable devices can test the feature directly. If you do not own a compatible device, an App Clip can be used on a friend’s device to scan, export and import the Floor Plan.
